Elite Agri Solutions is the brainchild of Jonathan Giret, designed to offer a variety of services all in one place so farmers can save time and money. Whether you are starting a project from scratch and you need help with nutrient management on your farm, or you need to put health and safety training in place, Elite Agri can help.

Our Team 

Jonathan Giret, Lead Consultant 

Jonathan Giret, the founder of Elite Agri Solutions Inc, has an entrepreneurial mindset and the ambition to see goals through. He’s the type of guy you want on your side starting any new project!

Jonathan has extensive experience as an agribusiness consultant, and he’s a health and safety expert. He’s been involved in the agri-food industry for over 15 years, and has been operating in consulting roles for the past 5. Jonathan provides business planning and management consulting services to a wide variety of agri-food producers and processors across Ontario.

Not only that, Jonathan provides lift-truck training, working at heights, confined spaces, and more. In addition to delivering training, Jonathan provides health and safety plans and employee handbooks for agricultural and industrial businesses.

Finally, Jonathan is a farmer himself. He owns and operates a broiler operation on his farm in West Elgin. Jonathan has a Bachelor of Bio Resource Management, Environmental Management from the University of Guelph.

Lori Beckett, Office Manager

Lori started working with Elite Agri Solutions in the fall of 2019 and has quickly become an invaluable member of our team. With a long-standing history of working in the logistics and administrative industries, she is a vital part of ensuring the full operation at Elite Agri Solutions runs without a hitch. 

Lori handles everything from bookkeeping, customer claims and customer service and is likely the first friendly voice you’ll hear when you call our office. 

Mike Kerkvliet, Business Consultant & Technical Writer

Mike is a multidisciplinary business consultant and technical writer. He has 6 years of consulting experience, and over 20 years of experience in agricultural production. Mike has spent 2 years working in the grocery logistics industry, 4 years in manufacturing, 4 years in municipal economic development, and 6 years consulting for various businesses both within and outside the agri-food industry.

Mike’s breadth of experience gives him a unique ability to understand all facets of a business and develop comprehensive business plans. A farmer himself, Mike is responsible for the business planning, human resources, and financial management of his family’s dairy goat production and cash crop farm business. Mike also has experience in digital media production in the areas of professional photography and videography.

Tristan Coelho, Environmental Consultant 

Tristan is an environmental consultant and nutrient management planner with 10 years of experience working in the agri-food industry.  Tristan has experience working as a field test engineer and agronomist and has worked in the farm equipment industry. Tristan specializes in nutrient management plan development and has developed nutrient management plans for farms across Ontario. Tristan holds a Bachelor of Bio-Resource Management from the University of Guelph.

Tova Burkhart, Health and Safety Lead 

Tova has a plethora of experience in the area of health and safety, with 8 years in various positions in the industry. She is a trained confined space rescue technician, has experience with safety supervision, as well as experience with the Canadian Armed Forces. Tova holds a diploma in the Paramedic program from Lambton College, and an associate diploma in Agriculture at the University of Guelph.

Lance Buis, V.P. Equipment sales 

 After completing his diploma in agriculture at the university of Guelph Ridgetown campus, Lance worked in the agricultural sector for several years as a farm service technician. Lance is currently working on his own farm with several family members, together they run a successful dairy, swine and grain farm just outside of Aylmer, Ontario. When he isn’t busy working on sales with Elite Agri, or working on his own farm, Lance enjoys being active, doing many outdoor activities and spending time with his family.
