Why is Working at Heights training required?
In Ontario, Working at Heights training is a legal requirement under the OHSA’s Regulation O. Reg 213/91 for Construction Projects. It is mandatory for workers to receive any equipment-specific training. Our program is delivered through our training partnership with 3M Canada and is approved by Ontario’s Chief Prevention Officer (CPO). The course combines in-depth theoretical instruction with hands-on practice and equipment familiarization, ensuring participants are well-prepared to safely perform tasks at height using any of the following fall protection methods:
- Travel restraint systems
- Fall restricting systems
- Fall arrest systems
- Safety nets
- Work belts
- Safety belts
