Why are Violence and Harassment Training and Policy Reviews Required?
A safe workplace is a productive workplace. Our General Safety course bundle provides a comprehensive foundation in essential safety topics, including Workplace Violence and Harassment Prevention. This training equips participants with a solid understanding of workplace roles, their associated rights and responsibilities under the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), how to identify specific hazards, and how to implement adequate controls.
The course fosters a respectful and safe work environment by addressing workplace behaviour, communication, and conflict prevention issues. It emphasizes the importance of maintaining a culture free from violence and harassment while ensuring employees understand their rights and responsibilities under Ontario law. Designed to meet the legal training requirements outlined in the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), this program supports employers in staying compliant with policy updates and delivering ongoing education in a simple, accessible format.
What’s Included?
The course is flexible and can be tailored to meet your organization’s unique needs. Participants can complete the theory portion through either in-person or online learning.

Comprehensive Instruction: In-depth coverage of workplace violence and harassment, including definitions, examples, reporting procedures, employer/employee responsibilities, and how to recognize and respond to inappropriate or threatening behavior.
