FALL PROTECTION WORKING AT HEIGHTS PROGRAM

COURSE SUMMARY

This end-user fall protection program is developed by Fall Protection Group Inc., a leader in North American Fall Safety.

Elite Agri Solution’s instructors are trained and certified by Fall Protection Group Inc. to deliver, on Fall Protection Group’s behalf this safety training program.

This program includes the theory, tools, and knowledge of fall protection to safely work at height in the specified Canadian jurisdiction. The course material is energetically delivered, includes case studies, hands-on activities, and a focus on student participation.

The duration of the course is 8.5 hours, and it includes a mandatory written theory test. The certification is valid for 3 years from the course’s date

EQUIPMENT EVALUATION

Upon completion of the theory portion of the program, a hands-on practical evaluation is required to complete the certification. Elite Agri Solutions will complete practical evaluations on site as part of the training process.

SAFE OPERATION OF A FORKLIFT/LIFT TRUCK TRAINING

COURSE SUMMARY

Any accidents utilizing lift trucks and mobile equipment are preventable and considered unacceptable in the industry. As this equipment is commonly used it is paramount that operators recognize and understand potential hazards associated with the equipment.

Elite Agri Solution’s program is designed to teach participants the information to identify hazards, safely operate and properly inspect your equipment. Both a theoretical and practical evaluation will be performed during this course.

By the end of this programs, participants will be able to explain competency requirements, identify hazards, discuss stability principles, perform pre-operational checks, follow safe operating procedures and identify different fuel sources and hazards associated with them.

To receive certification of competency, all participants must complete the mandatory written test and achieve a passing grade.

SAFE OPERATION OF AERIAL WORK PLATFORMS TRAINING

COURSE SUMMARY

This program is designed to teach participants the knowledge and skill to operate Aerial work platforms in a safe and efficient manner. Aerial work platforms are becoming a necessity on most jobs sites, and are typically safer and more versatile than ladders or scaffolding. However, aerial work platforms do not come without risks of accidents and injury.

This program will include a full module on the use of fall protection equipment in connection with the use of aerial work platforms. By the end of this program, participants will be able to identify hazards, explain applicable legislation, list devices and operating controls, perform pre-operational inspections, perform safe operation practices, identify fuel source hazards and recognize the need for fall protection.

SAFE OPERATION OF A TELEHANDLER LIFT TRUCK TRAINING

COURSE SUMMARY

Telehandlers are a Class VII (7) Rough Terrain Forklift, typically used in construction-type environments.

This program is designed to provide participants with the ability to recognize hazards associated with the equipment discuss competency requirements and general responsibilities, explain stability principles, perform pre-operational checks, follow safe operating procedures and identify fuel source hazards.

Upon completion of the theory portion of the program, a hands-on practical evaluation is required to complete the certification. Elite Agri Solutions will complete practical evaluations on site as part of the training process.
