Are you a blueberry or raspberry grower in British Columbia planning to replant?

Great news, the Berry Replant Stream of the Enhanced Replant Program (ERP) is now accepting applications, offering substantial funding support to help you revitalize your berry acreage.

What’s New?

Eligible farms can access up to $750,000 in funding over the life of the program. This stream is specifically designed for growers replanting existing acreage with new blueberry or raspberry plants.

Who Can Apply?

This funding opportunity is open to:

• Blueberry growers replanting blueberries
• Raspberry growers replanting raspberries

Note: Switching between berry types is not permitted under this stream.

Funding Breakdown

Growers may qualify for:

• 50% cost-share on nursery stock if no Production Insurance Plant Loss Claim has been received
• 25% cost-share if a Plant Loss Claim has been received

Project size requirements:

• Minimum: 1 acre
• Maximum: 20 acres or 15% of your total acreage, whichever is greater

Key Program Rules

• Only one ERP application per farm per year is allowed, regardless of stream.
• High demand is expected, funding is limited and not guaranteed, so early application is strongly encouraged.
• Applications must strictly follow crop type rules: blueberries for blueberry growers, raspberries for raspberry growers.
