Starting November 12, the Enhanced Replant Program (ERP): Tree Fruit Replant Stream opens for applications, giving B.C. growers the chance to invest in stronger, more productive orchards with support for modern, market-driven varieties.

If you’re a cherry, apple, pear, or stone fruit grower in British Columbia, now is the time to plan your orchard renewal.

Whether you’re replacing aging blocks, recovering from plant loss, or expanding with new cultivars, the Enhanced Replant Program (ERP): Tree Fruit Replant can help offset the cost of replanting and set your orchard up for long-term success.

What Funding is Available?

Eligible growers can access:

• Up to 50% cost-share on nursery stock and licensing fees (if no Plant Loss Claim).
• Up to 25% cost-share if you’ve received a Plant Loss Claim since January 1, 2023.
• Up to 100% cost-share for select items if you operate a home nursery.
• Project size: Minimum 1 acre | Maximum 20 acres or 15% of your total acreage.
• Maximum funding: $750,000 per farm over the life of the program.

Key Program Rules

• Only one application per farm per year, regardless of stream.
• Do not begin replanting or removal work until your application is approved.
• Funding is limited and demand is expected to be high.

• Cherry growers looking to replace or expand with high-yielding, export-ready varieties.
• Apple and pear producers replanting with modern cultivars that meet today’s consumer preferences.
