Counterbalance Forklift

CSA Standard B335-15

Training Overview

Looking to enhance your workplace safety, advance your career, or stay compliant with training mandates?
Our comprehensive forklift (lift truck) training course is crafted in alignment with CSA training standards to provide you with the hands-on skills and in-depth knowledge needed to operate forklifts confidently and safely.

Why is a forklift license required?
In Ontario, the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) mandates that operators of “lifting devices,” including all classes of lift trucks, must be deemed competent to ensure workplace safety. Employers must verify this competence through training, knowledge-sharing, and practical experience before allowing operators to work with these machines. This certification is more than a skill upgrade- an industry-standard expectation. Compliance with regulations such as O. Reg. 213/91, Section 102 (Construction Projects), and O. Reg. 851, Section 51 (Industrial Establishments), is mandatory. Our course follows the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) Standard B335-15, which outlines the critical knowledge and skills operators must have, forming the backbone of our training.
