Your local partner in safety and workplace success
Elite Agri Solutions: Your local partner in safety and workplace success

A proud part of the Glencoe community since 2020, Elite Agri Solutions Inc. has been dedicated to supporting rural industries in a range of direct and agriculture-adjacent services. Among these, our safety training programs stand out, having been a large part of the company’s foundation. This service has allowed us to build strong relationships with clients while helping them meet their industry-specific needs.
At Elite, we’ve taken an approach to safety that focuses on delivering industry specialized and practical courses to help individuals become fully competent in their roles. Drawn directly from the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA, Section 1), competence is the most desired and necessary qualification for employees in the workplace, spanning all industries in the province. By definition, a competent person is someone who:
-
(a) is qualified through knowledge, training, and experience to organize work and its performance,
(b) is familiar with the Act and its regulations as they apply to the work, and
(c) has knowledge of any potential or actual workplace health and safety hazards.
Our safety training it’s designed to integrate safety seamlessly into local workplace culture, going beyond and helping businesses more than meet Ontario’s compliance standards.
With our office situated in the heart of Middlesex County, our diverse team of experts is deeply connected to the rural industries we serve. Most of our members either operate or have experience running agricultural businesses themselves, giving us firsthand knowledge of the opportunities and challenges facing farms in today’s day and age. This unique perspective fully informs our approach on how we offer training and the material itself; we meet businesses where they are, encouraging them to do what they can right now while working on continuous improvement at a pace that works for them.
We also understand that farming and outdoor work schedules are incredibly demanding, which is why we’ve designed our services to be as flexible and convenient for our clients as possible. Not only is the course material made for our intended audience, making it more engaging, relevant and immediately applicable, but each course can be accommodated for a client’s specific needs. Most of our programs blend theory with hands-on practice, allowing participants to work directly with equipment and develop practical skills they can apply in real-world situations. These include forklift training, telehandler (Class 7 lift truck) operation, mobile elevated work platform (MEWP) certification, lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, Confined Space Awareness training, Standard and Emergency First Aid training, and a general safety course covering Safety Awareness, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS 2015), and workplace violence and harassment training.
To accommodate to a clients’ unique needs, we provide versatile delivery options, whether you prefer on-site training at your location, sessions at our facility, or online courses. Our online offerings enable participants to learn at their own pace and on a schedule that suits their priorities, and as of 2024, we are proud to offer multiple courses in both English and Spanish to meet a wider range of needs!
